Phyton Talent Advisors seeks an experienced transactional attorney in Boston to draft, review, and negotiate account control agreements, side letters, and amendments for global account openings. The role supports derivatives documentation and coordinates across Legal, Credit, Risk, and Compliance teams while managing tight deadlines.

Applicants with 2+ years in financial services or related fields are encouraged; JD preferred though strong non-attorneys may be considered.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred; newly admitted attorneys with prior financial services experience will also be considered.
• JD preferred, but experienced non-attorneys with strong relevant backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in transactional law, corporate contracts, mutual funds, banking, or financial services.
• Experience with derivatives, ISDA documentation, and/or account control agreements is highly desirable.
• Law firm, custodian bank, mutual fund, or in-house legal experience preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, organizational, and client-service skills.
• Knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and Investment Company Act of 1940 is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Draft, review, and negotiate account control agreements, side letters, service agreement amendments, and documentation related to global account openings
• Support documentation related to derivatives and options trading
• Coordinate legal documentation across multiple parties while managing time-sensitive deadlines
• Track agreement status and maintain documentation, records, matrices, and files
• Partner with internal and external clients throughout the negotiation process
• Collaborate with Legal, Credit, Risk, and Compliance teams on contract reviews and special projects
