Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, Environmental Health and Safety, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • Five years of progressive experience in emergency preparedness activities, disaster operations, project management, or operational contingency planning.
  • Operational experience leading response operations, logistics, or program development.
  • Adaptive collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups by translating technical concepts into practical language.
  • Action-oriented planning with functional emergency plans and exercises focused on execution.
  • High proficiency in using collaborative platforms to convey complex incident information clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct emergency management operations and EOC readiness.
  • Coordinate ICT, EOC, URC, and other teams; ensure readiness across Seattle, Bothell, and Tacoma campuses.
  • Provide training, exercises, and cross-unit communications; support business continuity.
