Job summary
HARIBO of America, Inc. is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead nationwide demand forecasting for retail and distributor partners.
This on-site role in Rosemont, IL focuses on forecasting rather than supply or inventory planning, partnering with sales to drive accurate demand insights and growth. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in demand planning within a CPG environment, a bachelor’s degree, and hands-on experience with SAP/IBP or similar ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of demand planning & forecasting experience in the CPG industry
- 5+ years total experience in demand planning or related roles
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field
- Prior experience using an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, or other ERP systems
Responsibilities
- Lead the demand planning process for assigned retail and distributor partners across the United States
- Predict future retailer needs and provide accurate demand forecasts
- Provide monthly demand reviews and analyze SKU/product demands
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to assess trends, promotions, and activities that impact sales
- Create and manage data sets (e.g., SAP, IBP) and generate forecasting-based analyses
