Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking a Strategic Delivery Lead - COO to oversee cross-functional delivery across operations, technology, and data & analytics. You will partner with business leaders, Product Owners, and Release Train Engineers to shape, launch, and oversee COO initiatives in a matrixed environment.

Hybrid role requiring in-office presence; base salary ranges from $160,000 to $180,000 with incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or SAFe/ PMI-ACP certifications are advantageous.
• Proven experience in strategic delivery leadership and portfolio/project management in a matrixed environment.
• Proven experience in the insurance industry preferred.
• Experience overseeing cross-functional programs across operations, technology, data & analytics, and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cross-functional delivery roadmaps, budgets, risks, dependencies, and initiative-level reporting.
• Ensure alignment across operations, technology, and data & analytics priorities.
• Collaborate with business leaders, Product Owners, Value Stream Leads, Release Train Engineers, and COE teams to shape and oversee COO initiatives.
• Execute PI planning, identify cross-Value Stream dependencies, help set priorities, and mitigate impediments.
• Manage governance, financials, delivery status, OKRs, KPIs, and delivery metrics.
