Job summary

Capital Group in Chicago is seeking a Defined Contribution Retirement Consultant to partner with retirement plan advisors, financial professionals, and plan sponsors. You will identify opportunities, present solutions for Capital Group's American Funds, and help advisors position our investments within plan lineups.

You will stay current on industry trends, build pipelines, and advance opportunities toward point-of-sale outcomes.

Qualifications

Experience in retirement plans and financial services sales is preferred.
Ability to collaborate with retirement plan advisors and financial professionals.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized internal consultation to retirementplan-heavy advisors, sharing insights and guidance that strengthen relationships and develop retirement sales opportunities.
Identify gaps and develop solutions for plan opportunities, considering pricing, product fit, competitive dynamics, and territory nuances.
Cultivate new relationships with assigned prospects, building strong pipelines that drive future retirement plan opportunities.
Serve as a subjectmatter expert for advisors and consultants, addressing questions related to retirement plans and American Funds within plan lineups.
Represent Capital Group at industry events, hosting webinars/calls and delivering presentations to advisors and professionals.
Stay current on retirement industry trends and incorporate new insights or products into advisor discussions.
Advance opportunities toward point-of-sale outcomes and Capital Group placements within retirement plans.
