Job summary

General Motors Defense is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to monitor, analyze, and forecast program financial performance across current and future programs. You will maintain Estimates at Complete (EACs) and drive revenue, cost, and resource expectations.

The role partners with cross-functional teams, prepares rolling forecasts and P&L, and ensures ASC 606 compliance. Proficiency in SAP (PEG) and Dassian is valued; hybrid work in Warren, MI is required.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting concepts
Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other office products
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Defense or Government contracting experience

Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate financial data into insights and recommendations.
Prepare and maintain program forecasts (EACs, rolling forecasts, P&L, cash flow, production planning).
Develop and manage baselines and plans, incorporating ASC 606 for cost/schedule forecasts.
Monitor and analyze performance, including variances, risks, and mitigations.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports and ad-hoc analyses for leadership.
Utilize SAP (PEG) and Dassian for financial analysis.
Automation of standard processes where possible.
