Job summary

Eccalon, LLC in Arlington, VA seeks a Senior Policy Analyst to support the DoW OSBP and IBG, delivering expert policy analysis, strategic guidance, and program support to enhance small business participation in defense acquisitions.

Ideal candidate has federal acquisition policy experience and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable guidance for leaders, contracting activities, and industry partners. SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance required.
• 8+ years of federal policy, acquisition policy, or government contracting experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and small business regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze laws, regulations, directives, and policies affecting DoW small business programs.
• Develop policy papers, briefing materials, white papers, and decision memos for leaders.
• Support implementation of statutes and regulations for DoD contracting.
• Provide SME on subcontracting requirements and small business utilization.
• Coordinate OSBP guidance and internal program materials revision.
• Research trends and risks in small business participation in defense contracts.
• Track legislative/regulatory developments from Congress, SBA, FAR, and DFARS.
• Prepare executive briefings and leadership status updates.
