Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Product Line Manager based in Torrance, CA. You will own a 3-5 product family, drive lifecycle management, growth strategy, and customer engagement while leading cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and target profitability.

The role requires a BS in a technical field, 3+ years in technical product management, and US citizenship due to defense industry requirements; PMP is a plus. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years in technical product management, preferably in defense or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience managing P&L, forecasting, margin analysis, and cash flow for a product line or unit.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal teams and external customers.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship required due to defense industry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, including quote/bid development for the product line family.
• Develop and execute growth strategies: market analysis, competitive positioning, forecasts, and new business development.
• Serve as primary customer interface for product-related matters and maintain strong relationships.
• Own the product line P&L including revenue forecasting, margin management, and cash flow optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, and sales to drive product success and resolve issues.
• Prepare and present status updates, forecasts, and reports for internal stakeholders; communicate with external customers; escalate delivery and satisfaction issues.
• Travel up to 20% to customer sites/business meetings.
