Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience in data science, defense policy, economics, or related fields; or a Master’s with at least 2 years.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, data cleaning and management, and intuitive visualizations.
• Demonstrated understanding of US national security policy environment, including technology trends and modernization programs.

Responsibilities

• Collect public and open-source information, build foundational data sets, and conduct research and analysis related to defense programs, policy, and trends.
• Develop compelling advocacy products that illustrate value and cost-effectiveness of programs.
• Provide quick-turn analytic support to senior executives on national security issues.
