Job summary

Highmark Inc. is seeking an experienced data analyst to prioritize data requirements in collaboration with customers and design teams. You will provide analytics support for projects, model data sources, and translate requirements into robust decision-support applications.

The role requires 7+ years of relevant experience, strong mainframe/DB skills, and proficiency with BI tools. You will mentor colleagues and help deliver secure, insight-driven reports to stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field (see education).
7 years of relevant, progressive experience including leading projects of varying size/complexity.
Strong technical skills with mainframe, PC, and large databases; proficient with Microsoft Office, Business Objects, Cognos, and Enterprise Guide.

Responsibilities

Develop and foster internal relationships across the corporation and provide analytic support to internal customers and external partners.
Mentor colleagues on technical and business aspects of projects and consultative work.
Lead in determining how decision support systems deliver information to support business decisions; propose solutions to complex problems; drive implementation.
