Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, or related field or relevant experience.
• 3 years of relevant, progressive experience in Industrial Engineering or Operations Research, or related field.
• Experience as a Decision Support Analyst or equivalent training in a business or clinical environment is preferred.
• Strong technical skills with mainframe, PC and Internet-based technologies and with large databases.
• Proficiency with reporting tools like Microsoft Office, Business Objects, Cognos, and Enterprise Guide.

Responsibilities

• Develop and foster internal relationships across the corporation.
• Provide analytic and consultative support to internal customers and external partners.
• Mentor colleagues on technical and business aspects of projects.
• Translate requirements into decision support and reporting tools.
• Propose solutions to complex business problems and lead implementation of recommended solutions.
• Define issues and methods for studies and projects; create new analysis methods and data models.
• Model data sources/flows and define security policies for information delivery.
• Assist with interpretation of data and prepare reports or presentations for stakeholders.
• Develop programs using SAS, R, SQL and other DB tech (DB2, Teradata, Oracle).
• Other duties as assigned.
