Germain Motor Company in Columbus, OH is seeking a Corporate Dealership Controller to oversee all accounting operations and provide strategic financial guidance for growth and profitability.

You will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, coordinate audits, and develop budgets while ensuring compliance with GAAP and automotive industry standards. This role requires travel and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Proven experience as Corporate Controller or similar in automotive dealership or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and GAAP.
• Experience with financial reporting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills; strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop financial reports and budgets to inform business decisions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Support leadership with financial forecasting and strategic planning.
• Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
• Manage budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with department heads to support financial planning and cost control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
