Job summary

GrowthLoop is seeking a Data Engineer to be embedded with a single enterprise client, shaping the data transformation journey and building scalable data models. You’ll ingest large data volumes into cloud warehouses, design efficient schemas, and collaborate with stakeholders to unlock business value.

You will work with Looker/Tableau/Power BI, leverage BigQuery/Snowflake/Redshift on GCP, and own end-to-end data pipelines in a fast-paced, autonomous environment with room to grow and impact.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery.
• Strong data modeling skills for analytical and operational use cases.
• Experience with BI/visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing principles.
• Autonomous, self‑starter with a curiosity for learning new tools.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and optimize ingestion of large data volumes into cloud data warehouses.
• Work with a single enterprise client to understand data needs and roadblocks.
• Design and build scalable data models for analytical and operational goals.
• Improve internal workflows and tooling for efficiency and repeatability.
• Serve as a thought partner for client stakeholders on data decisions.
