Job summary

American Display and Fixture in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a motivated Project Manager to drive projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with customer specs. You will use Excel to organize data, track milestones, and identify risks for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify issues, ask good questions, analyze options, and recommend solutions.
• Experience with data—proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and data validation.
• Experience with ERP systems or other database tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review projects and disseminate key information to personnel, ensuring orders are released and necessary items are purchased.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and internal departments to keep items on schedule.
• Analyze and interpret project data to identify risks, inefficiencies, and trends.
• Monitor data accuracy in project tracking systems and correct inconsistencies.
• Proactively communicate project status with Sales, Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Design, Shipping, etc.
• Facilitate problem resolution and escalate issues appropriately.
• Communicate changes and requirements to clients and internal stakeholders promptly.
• Work with Operations to obtain technical insights and resolve challenges efficiently.
• Initiate and lead launch/kickoff meetings with stakeholders.
• Provide strong customer service and build effective client relationships.
• Use data-driven insights to improve project tracking, reporting, and efficiency.
• Update information in internal systems with accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify and address data inconsistencies for decision-making.
