Job summary

US Display Group, Inc., a premier manufacturer of Point of Purchase displays, seeks a Project Manager to guide orders from inception to shipment within the corrugated support team. This role involves direct customer contact and close collaboration with sales to ensure on-time delivery.

The Project Manager will plan and execute key projects, coordinate resources, and communicate with customers and senior management to meet delivery dates and business objectives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, engineering, science, information systems or related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment; corrugated industry is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and project-management abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in creating and presenting reports and plans.

Responsibilities

  • Guide orders from inception to shipment within the manufacturing facility.
  • Direct customer contact and coordinate with sales representatives as needed.
  • Plan, communicate, coordinate, prioritize, and measure project activities.
  • Assist management with resource planning and justification of resources.
  • Prepare updates and presentations for internal audiences and senior management.
  • Handle customer inquiries, purchase orders, and changes.

US Display Group, Inc., a premier manufacturer ofpremierePoint of Purchase displays.The Project Manager role is a key position within our Corrugated Support Services Team. This personis responsible forguiding orders frominceptionto shipment within the manufacturing facility. Direct customer contact isrequired.

Position Overview:The Project Manageris responsible forplanning and executingkey projects to achieve businessobjectivesand delivery dates. Responsible for planning, communicating, coordinating, prioritizing, and measuring the overall activities, effectiveness, and productivity ofthe productdevelopment.Assistmanagement with resource planning,utilization, and justification of business resources.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works seamlesslywithineach level of the business to ensure the business’s needs are properly met.
  • Prepare and present written and oral updates and other presentations to internal audiences as needed or based on established cadence. Interact with senior level management to reach agreementregardingsignificant projectstrategies.
  • Identifyproblems/issues. Anticipate future problems. Resolve current issues. Learn and adjust based on prior results and prior project experiences.
  • Take customer orders either directly from customers or sales representatives.
  • Place orders ona timelybasis for purchases of materials and supplies to be used in production.
  • Handle customer complaints and questions and follow up withappropriate internalpersonnel asrequired.
  • Maintain customer files.
  • Processcustomerpurchase orders.
  • Record and distribute customer order changes.
  • Email/Fax confirmations to customers
  • Assistsales personnel asappropriateand assistin generating supplemental sales.
  • Track warehouse items toensureavailability and thatagreed-uponminimum/maximum levels are followed. Analyze monthly usages and re-stocking per customer
  • Complies withcompany policies and procedures.
  • Additionalduties asassigned by management.

QualificationsRequirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’sDegreepreferablyin business, engineering, science, informationsystemsor a discipline closely related to the area served.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably.
  • Experience in the corrugatedindustry, preferable.
  • Must have the ability toproblem solve,initiateand manage projects.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management skills such as project planning and execution.

Other Skills and Abilities:Excellent communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instructions, and training and procedure manuals. Ability towriteroutine reports and correspondence. Understanding ofDesign Control and the Quality System.Knowledgeable inkeytools:PowerPoint,Excel, Word. Data entry programs.
