Job summary

Pearson seeks an experienced Domain Lead to guide discovery and definition of core data products within the Global Data organization. You will align business strategy with data delivery, defining the domain's direction while guiding investments to maximize impact and measurable outcomes.

You will coordinate with data teams, OCTO teams, stakeholders, and executives to define scope, metrics, roadmaps, and narratives that translate business needs into actionable data initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, CS, engineering, data science, or related field.
• MBA, PMP, CBAP or data certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in data products, technology, or product-driven organizations.
• Working knowledge of data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Familiarity with data processing, ELT and ETL pipelines, and data migration practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize scope, goals, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and milestones for data product initiatives.
• Own communication of business objectives and drive delivery across data teams and executives.
• Develop clear narratives for data products to secure stakeholder buy-in and executive support.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define problems and value, including success metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering to clarify expectations and deliver measurable business value.
• Measure and communicate business impact of domain and data initiatives.
• Collaborate across Global Data to advance data quality, governance, and sustainability standards.
