Pearson seeks an experienced Domain Lead to drive discovery and definition of core data products for the Global Data organization. You will bridge business strategy and data delivery, aligning priorities and guiding investments to maximize impact.

You will own roadmaps, coordinate across data teams and executives, and develop compelling narratives to secure buy-in. Strong communication and proactive problem-solving are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, CS, engineering, data science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data products, technology, or product-driven organizations.
• Working knowledge of data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
• Familiarity with data processing, ELT and ETL pipelines, and data migration practices.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Relationship building and the ability to influence without authority.
• Proactive, strategic problem-solver who independently identifies opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize scope, goals, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and milestones across data product initiatives.
• Own communication of business objectives and drive delivery through ambiguity and complexity across data teams, OCTO teams, stakeholders, and executives.
• Develop clear, compelling narratives for data products to secure stakeholder buy-in and executive support.
• Partner with business stakeholders to drive problem definition and value articulation with clear success metrics.
• Partner with engineering teams to clarify expectations, support execution, and ensure delivery of measurable business value.
• Measure and communicate the business impact of domain and broader data initiatives.
• Collaborate across Global Data to advance data quality, governance, and sustainability standards.
