Job summary

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in data architecture, hands-on modeling tool experience (MD/ERwin) and CDMP certification, with deep knowledge of the financial services IT landscape.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computing Science or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience as an Information or Data Architect.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering Logical Data Models.
• Hands-on experience with logical data modelling tools.
• CDMP Certification or related data management certification.
• Exposure to industry data models.
• Experience building Common Data Models.
• Advanced knowledge of architecture and related disciplines.
• Proficiency in SDLC and enterprise IT systems.
• Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work with product owners and SMEs to understand requirements for Logical Data Models.
• Build Logical Data Models reflecting requirements for solutions.
• Mature Business Information Models leveraging implementation analysis.
• Ensure best practice data modelling standards and guidelines are followed.
• Engage with technical teams and stakeholders on architecture approaches.
• Identify opportunities to improve metadata and data lifecycle management.
• Participate in information architecture governance bodies.
• Evaluate architecture recommendations and provide feedback.
• Develop and troubleshoot creative information architecture solutions.
