Job summary

Zipline is seeking a Business Data Analyst to turn data into actionable insights that drive growth. You will serve as an embedded partner to Marketing, Commercial, and Growth, translating business questions into analyses, dashboards, and recommendations that improve performance.

You will build reporting solutions, automate workflows with AI tools, and collaborate with Data Science and Product teams to scale Zipline’s Platform 2 growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering analytics or BI work in analytics, ops, tech, logistics, or related environment.
• Proficient in SQL and querying complex datasets.
• Experience building business-facing dashboards in BI tools.
• Familiar with data warehouses and scripting language (Python).
• Ability to translate questions into rigorous analyses and recommendations.
• Strong communication and business judgment with stakeholders.
• Experience using AI tools to automate workflows and recurring reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own analyses of customer behavior, performance, market dynamics, and growth opportunities.
• Define KPI frameworks and metric definitions for cross-team views.
• Build and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting for action.
• Translate analysis into recommendations for campaigns and growth initiatives.
• Monitor performance to identify trends, risks, opportunities needing decisions.
• Partner with Data Science, Product, and business teams to improve data quality and reporting.
• Use AI-enabled workflows to automate recurring reporting and insights.
