Job summary

Solace is seeking a Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights in a fast-growing healthcare startup. You’ll partner with multiple teams to close gaps in performance and efficiency, build scalable analytics, and enable self-serve dashboards across the company.

You will curate data with engineering, translate complex findings for non-technical stakeholders, and thrive in a startup environment that values urgency, precision, and impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics at a tech company, marketplace, or product-led startup where data directly informed product or business decisions.
• You measure the success of your work by the business outcome it produced — not by what you built.
• You are an expert at writing efficient, complex queries to extract and manipulate data from cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
• You have strong experience designing interactive dashboards and reports. Familiarity with Hex is highly preferred; Looker/Tableau/Metabase are valuable.
• You are comfortable working with messy, real-world data, including parsing nested JSON and cleaning unstructured datasets.
• You analyze data to find root causes of business problems.
• You can explain complex data concepts to product managers, operations teams, and executives.
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operational Excellence: identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies; transform datasets into actionable insights and improvements.
• Build Scalable Analytics: design, implement, and maintain tracking systems and dashboards for self-serve metrics.
• Curate the Data Layer: collaborate with engineering to maintain clean, reliable data models and scalable transformations.
• Translate findings into recommendations for leadership; tell the data story and drive decisions.
• Wrangle Complex Data: work with structured and semi-structured data, including nested JSON.
