Job summary

Aptiv in Troy, MI is seeking a Senior Manager of Cybersecurity Engineering to architect and defend our digital infrastructure onsite. You will bridge software engineering and security, designing robust controls, monitoring, and response across IT and OT environments.

Lead a global SOC, drive threat intelligence programs, and guide budget, tool selection, and vendor oversight while fostering a high-performance security culture. Requires leadership and deep security tech expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Five+ years in cybersecurity operations with at least two in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing SOCs, incident response teams, and threat intelligence programs.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and other security technologies.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, networking, AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Professional certifications (CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, CISM) are highly desirable.
• Willingness to work onsite in Troy, MI and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement security measures and controls for cybersecurity and IoT/OT security.
• Develop and execute strategies to monitor, detect, and respond to threats in real time.
• Lead threat intelligence programs and incident response efforts, including post-incident analysis.
• Design, implement, and optimize SIEM, SOAR, and monitoring tools across IT/OT.
• Oversee audits, governance, and vendor MSP relationships; manage budgets and resources.
• Lead and mentor a global SOC team and foster a high-performance culture.
