Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Assurance Analyst to join the Systems/Information Technology team in Columbus, IN. You will lead risk assessments, guide remediation, and ensure regulatory alignment across cybersecurity programs.

You will apply NIST, ISO, ITIL, and COBIT frameworks, provide technical cybersecurity expertise, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable technology solutions that align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or information technology, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience performing cybersecurity control assessments and IT audits.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO, COBIT, ITIL frameworks.
• Ability to mentor team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity control assessments across IT systems and processes.
• Analyze control implementations and identify gaps.
• Document assessment results and provide evidence-based evaluations.
• Support internal and external audits and third-party certifications (e.g., CMMC, ISO 27001, NIS2).
• Prepare audit-ready documentation and evidence packages.
• Ensure audit artifacts meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, Compliance and business stakeholders.
