Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Special Assistant to join our Federal Strategic Cyber Group in Arlington, VA (on-site with potential hybrid after 90 days). You will support leadership with recommendations, prepare technical content, and coordinate cybersecurity materials, engaging with executive leadership to drive project objectives.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and Security+ with continued certification; U.S.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Must possess or be able to obtain Security+ before start date; continued certification required.
• Demonstrated experience in developing requirements, workflow, and systems analysis.
• Experience with preparing complex operating instructions.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing/editing technical correspondence and presentations.
• Experience engaging with executive level leadership.
• U.S. citizenship required; active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Attend and support business consulting needs to the office leadership by providing recommendations, meeting conduct, risk and action management, and problem resolution.
• Prepare, review and edit technical correspondence and presentations for internal/external meetings.
• Assist in the production and publication of Reports, Manuals, Technical procedures and other Cyber Security documentation.
• Assist and support administrative managers and directors in their daily tasks.
• Provide and enable reporting needs for office leadership to stakeholders outside of the organization.
