Diodes Incorporated is seeking a Strategic Customer Planning Analyst in Plano, TX, to act as the primary liaison between customer demand and supply availability. You will drive weekly reviews, monitor shortages, and coordinate cross-functional actions to meet delivery commitments and revenue goals.

The role requires a bachelor's in a relevant field, 3+ years in supply planning, and strong analytical skills with Excel and ERP/MRP experience. Mandarin proficiency is a plus for global collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, customer planning, demand planning, production planning, or account supply management.
  • Experience managing customer delivery commitments, shortage resolution, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate with customers and cross-functional teams globally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary voice of supply to strategic customers, providing proactive communication on supply availability, shortages, and recovery plans.
  • Lead weekly customer supply review meetings to discuss shortage parts, delivery commitments, capacity constraints, and mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate customer-facing communications related to supply risks and delivery performance.
  • Track and manage daily expedite requests, critical shortages, and delinquent orders.
  • Monitor supply gaps and work with BU planners, manufacturing sites, and operations teams to drive timely resolutions.
  • Escalate critical supply issues and coordinate recovery actions across internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate alignment between customer orders, forecasts, and supply commitments.
  • Analyze demand changes and evaluate impacts on production capacity and customer delivery commitments.
  • Partner with BU planners to ensure order commit dates are realistic and aligned with available capacity and material supply.
  • Consolidate BU planner delivery commitments against customer requests into standardized reporting tools.
  • Monitor past-due orders, commitment adherence, and delivery performance metrics.
  • Identify trends in supply shortages and recommend corrective actions to improve service levels.
  • Work closely with BU planners, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales, and Operations to understand material shortages, production delays, delinquent order drivers, capacity constraints.
  • Facilitate discussions with planners and manufacturing teams to develop action plans for critical customer requirements.
  • Coordinate and publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly customer supply reports.
  • Perform supply gap analysis to identify risks against customer demand and forecast requirements.
  • Develop and monitor execution plans to resolve problem parts and improve supply performance.
  • Present key supply metrics, risks, and recovery actions to management and customer-facing teams.

About the Role

The Strategic Customer Planning Analyst serves as the primary supply chain planning liaison for key strategic customer accounts, ensuring alignment between customer demand, supply availability, and delivery commitments. This role works closely with Business Unit (BU) Planners, Customer Service, Sales, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to proactively manage supply constraints, drive commitment accuracy, and provide timely communication to customers regarding supply status, shortages, and recovery plans.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with excellent communication and cross-functional coordination capabilities to support customer satisfaction, delivery performance, and revenue goals.

What You’ll Do

Customer Supply Management

  • Act as the primary voice of supply to strategic customers, providing proactive communication on supply availability, shortages, and recovery plans.
  • Lead weekly customer supply review meetings to discuss shortage parts, delivery commitments, capacity constraints, and mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate customer-facing communications related to supply risks and delivery performance.

Shortage and Expedite Management

  • Track and manage daily expedite requests, critical shortages, and delinquent orders.

Demand and Supply Coordination

  • Coordinate alignment between customer orders, forecasts, and supply commitments.

Commitment and Delivery Performance Management

  • Drive process improvements that enhance commitment accuracy, shortage visibility, and customer communication effectiveness.
  • Support implementation of planning tools, reporting enhancements, and operational best practices.
  • Participate in strategic customer account reviews and supply chain improvement initiatives.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, customer planning, demand planning, production planning, or account supply management.
  • Experience managing customer delivery commitments, shortage resolution, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and cross-functional teams across global regions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing industry experience.
  • Experience supporting strategic or high-volume customer accounts.
  • Knowledge of capacity planning, wafer planning, assembly/test operations, and supply allocation processes
