Job summary

Assemblies of God in Springfield, Missouri seeks a seasoned curriculum development leader to implement a core curriculum strategy and oversee production from concept to publish. The role leads writers and field practitioners, ensuring best-practice components are woven into each curriculum, while stewarding budgets and coordinating with ministry leaders nationwide.

Strong collaboration with the Director of Solutions Development and cross-age teaching experience are valued as you guide curriculum

Qualifications

• Master's degree in curriculum development or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Education.
• Five years teaching experience, preferably in more than one age group.
• Two years proven experience in curriculum development.
• Familiarity with curriculum development process, including conceptualization, lesson development, writing, and publishing.
• Customer service skills.
• General office skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Director of Solutions Development to implement a core curriculum strategy for resourced developed.
• Oversee the development of assigned curriculum lines from concept through production in cooperation with ministry leaders.
• Lead a team of writers and field practitioners to ensure that best-practice curriculum components are intentionally woven into assigned curriculum.
• Steward assigned budget(s) with fiscal accuracy and responsibility.
• Oversee curriculum development process, ensuring that all steps of the workflow are accounted for and assigned to the necessary persons.
• Work with national office ministry leaders to help shape and create curriculum for assigned ministry departments.
