Job summary

KeyBank in Brooklyn, OH is seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to advance the CTI program by producing strategic forecasts and executive-level intelligence for risk decisions.

The role requires 5+ years of CTI experience, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to translate complex threats into business impact for senior leaders and regulators. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in CTI.
• Demonstrated experience managing intelligence requirements and producing strategic intelligence for senior decision makers.
• Strong understanding of the financial services threat environment and the business, operational, customer, third-party, and regulatory impacts of cyber threats.
• Experience assessing geopolitical risk, state-sponsored activity, and emerging technology risks in a business or security context.
• Ability to connect threat information to security controls, business exposure, and risk-based priorities.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and elevate risks appropriately.
• Ability to communicate concisely, effectively and directly with executive management.

Responsibilities

• Aggregate, evaluate, and synthesize threat intelligence from OSINT, dark web forums, commercial feeds, and internal sources.
• Strategic CTI report writing & briefing - produce forward looking assessments and forecasts.
• Establish feedback measures for intelligence products.
• Analyze the financial services threat landscape.
• Evaluate emerging technology risks (AI, cloud, quantum).
• Deep understanding of TA TTPs and IOCs.
• Provide intelligence support during significant incidents.
• Conduct threat to control gap assessments.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, D3FEND, Diamond Model, Kill Chain, SIEM, SOAR, TIP, and EDR.
• Apply intelligence-led prioritization for resource alignment and risk decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess and communicate cyber risks.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts and cross-functional partners.
• Lead by example in fostering curiosity and learning.
