Job summary

DMA - DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior Tax Consultant to lead credits and incentives engagements for diverse clients, performing advanced research, analysis, and execution of incentive opportunities.

In this role you will collaborate with managers and senior leaders, contribute to client delivery, and mentor junior team members while navigating complex programs across multiple industries, including data centers and energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years in credits and incentives, property tax consulting, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; effective verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in credits and incentives projects for DMA clients.
• Research and analysis of state, local, federal, and utility incentive programs.
• Prepare documentation, applications, and supporting materials related to incentive opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and assist in interactions with clients and economic development officials.
• Support project execution by managing assigned tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of work-in-process (WIP) reports.
• Support client meetings and presentations as needed.
• Assist in evaluating incentive opportunities for existing and prospective clients.
• Maintain working knowledge of credits and incentives programs, regulations, and trends.
• Assist in researching and addressing technical or project-related issues.
• Provide informal guidance and support to junior team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
