Job summary

Assembly Health is seeking a Credentialing Account Manager to lead client relationships and oversee credentialing and enrollment workflows. You will partner with providers, payers, and internal teams to drive process improvements and ensure compliance.

Reporting to the Director of Provider Relations, you will manage complex issues, monitor KPIs, and scale operations nationally in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in provider relations, credentialing, enrollment, or healthcare operations.
• 2+ years of people management experience, including managing Team Leads or supervisors.
• 2+ years of account management or customer success experience, serving as primary point of contact for clients.
• Strong understanding of medical billing, payer enrollment, claims resolution, and healthcare workflows.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and implement scalable processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or process improvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients.
• Lead provider enrollment and credentialing activities to ensure accuracy and payer compliance.
• Monitor KPIs like retention, credentialing turnaround time, and NPS.
• Oversee enrollment status, payer communications, and provider data across systems.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce cycle times.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Operations, Compliance, and Clinical Leadership.
