Job summary

CFS in Minneapolis is seeking a Lease Analyst to support a diverse commercial real estate portfolio. You will review leases, prepare rent schedules, and manage critical dates while ensuring accurate billings and recoveries.

You'll support reconciliations for CAM, operating expenses, tax, and insurance, and prepare portfolio reports for budgeting and month-end close. Collaboration with Accounting, Legal, Property Management, and Leasing teams is key to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 1 to 4+ years of commercial real estate lease admin/related experience.
• Strong understanding of lease terms, CAM recoveries, operating expenses, and tenant billing.
• Advanced Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations, variance analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret commercial leases, amendments, renewals, assignments, and terminations for accurate setup.
• Create and maintain lease abstracts, rent schedules, recurring charges, tenant recoveries, and records.
• Monitor critical lease dates including renewals, expirations, notice periods, rent commencements, and compliance.
• Support CAM, operating expense, tax, and insurance reconciliations while applying lease provisions.
• Research lease discrepancies, tenant inquiries, billing variances, and contractual issues with stakeholders.
• Prepare lease, occupancy, recovery, variance, and portfolio reporting for budgeting and month-end decisions.
