Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
Progressively responsible public-sector financial management experience.
Supervisory or administrative management experience leading teams in governmental budgeting, accounting, auditing, or financial reporting.
Experience directing or contributing to municipal/county budget preparation and external financial audits.

Responsibilities

Present financial results and fiscal policy inquiries to the Board of Supervisors and other stakeholders.
Lead budget work sessions and guide annual budget development.
Coordinate with external audit firms and state/regulatory bodies; ensure GASB-compliant financial reporting.
