Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Principal Business Management Analyst to strengthen financial rigor, narrative quality, and reporting for the Optimization Hub. You will partner with IPTs to develop defensible business cases and optimize ideas end-to-end.

Required: 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's, advanced Excel, data-visualization skills, and experience presenting to senior leadership; willingness to travel 10%.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's; 3 years with Masters; 1 year with PhD.
• Advanced Excel skills, including development and review of formula-driven financial models.
• Working proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools.
• Experience preparing and presenting executive-level reporting to senior leadership.
• Ability to develop proficiency in the FinOps Framework as well as data center and cloud financial-management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-driven business cases and optimization ideas from problem definition through approval and benefits realization.
• Gather and synthesize financial, operational, technical, and qualitative data into cohesive, evidence-based artifacts.
• Validate financial assumptions and calculations, including ROI, NPV, payback, run-rate savings, and one-time benefits.
• Perform sensitivity and risk analyses and document findings with recommendations.
