Job summary

Supermicro Computer Inc. is seeking an experienced Cost Control Analyst to provide accurate pricing for new and existing products. The role collaborates with sales to close deals and sits in the San Jose, CA headquarters.

In-office attendance is required during standard hours and coordination with Sales, Operations, and Logistics is essential. The position emphasizes cost forecasting, variance analysis, budgeting, and supporting make/buy decisions with a focus on cost reduction and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years in cost calculation/analysis systems.
• Experience coordinating with Sales, Operations, Purchasing and Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload for multiple departments across function base.
• Forecasts, controls, and reports project costs.
• Develops variances, trending and expenditure analysis.
• Provide forecasting guidance for assigned projects.
• Oversee budgeting and contract administration processes.
• Assist customers with cost versus capital decisions.
• Prepare standard cost for motherboard, chassis, and servers.
• Coordinate cost development for components and modules.
