Responsibilities include standard cost systems, cost variance analysis, month-end close, and cost control initiatives. A CPA/CMA and manufacturing experience are highly valued as you mentor a growing cost accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive cost accounting or financial analysis experience, manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of standard cost systems, cost variance analysis, and inventory accounting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cost accounting function including inventory valuation and COGS.
• Develop and maintain standard cost accounting systems and processes.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and compare standard vs actual costs.
• Review cost standards for new and existing products.
• Lead month-end and year-end close for inventory and cost accounting.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain and auditors during audits.
• Support FP&A in forecasts, budgets, and cost control strategies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.
