Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an Events Manager to strategically plan, manage and execute in-person and hybrid executive events, including conferences and leadership meetings. The role collaborates with regional partners and reports to the Event Experience and Execution Leader.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of corporate events experience, with travel up to 30%. Proficiency in CVENT and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
• 5+ years of corporate meeting and event planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement event strategies and cadences aligned with goals and budgets.
• Lead proactive and strategic event planning with executives and partners.
• Manage all aspects of event logistics including site visits, venue sourcing, and attendee registration.
• Collaborate with marketing to create invitations, signage, and materials.
• Deliver engaging experiences for in-person and virtual events.
• Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships for seamless events.
• Independently manage multiple projects with budget adherence.
• Utilize CVENT to manage events from concept to post-event analysis.
• Oversee event budgets and financial tracking.
• Create detailed project plans with defined roles and timelines.
• Coordinate equipment, supplies, and event needs including A/V and décor.
• Lead volunteer coordination for registration and on-site execution.
• Emulate Huntington’s values through teamwork and accountability.
• Adapt to changing goals with strong problem-solving.
• Travel up to 30% for on-site support.
