Job summary

SSA Marine, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Communications in Seattle, WA.

The role will partner with the Director of Communications to design and execute integrated initiatives that enhance the company’s reputation, support business priorities, and engage employees. The ideal candidate will craft external messaging, lead media relations, and guide internal communications across operations, HR, sustainability, legal, and governance areas.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, English).
8+ years of corporate communications or related experience.
Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop strategies for complex business issues and initiatives.
Experience supporting senior executives and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic communications advisor to leaders across SSA Marine and affiliated businesses.
Develop messaging plans to support initiatives and organizational changes.
Provide counsel on reputational and employee engagement considerations.
Lead creation of messages, talking points, executive presentations, and crisis communications materials.
Manage external communications programs and media relations activities.
