Catalyst Brands LLC is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager based in Plano, TX. You will shape external communications, manage media relations, and craft executive messaging to support business priorities and protect the company’s reputation.

You will translate complex topics into clear, engaging content for media and external stakeholders, collaborating with Marketing, Legal, Operations, Merchandising, and other teams to ensure consistent messaging and strategic impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations, public affairs, or related communications functions.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio of executive, media, and corporate communications work.
• Demonstrated experience managing media relations and generating earned media opportunities.
• Experience supporting executive communications and senior leadership visibility.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to navigate complex and sensitive business situations with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of integrated corporate communications strategies aligned with company priorities and business objectives.
• Ensure consistency of messaging across external communications channels.
• Support development of press releases, media statements, talking points, and other external communications materials and help with proactive media outreach that generates positive coverage and strengthens company reputation.
• Respond to media inquiries and coordinate interview opportunities with company spokespeople.
• Monitor media trends, coverage, and industry developments, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Monitor emerging issues, industry trends, and stakeholder sentiment that could impact the company's reputation.
• Support development of messaging and communications materials to address sensitive or complex business matters.
• Assist with crisis and issues management planning, including holding statements, media responses, stakeholder communications, and preparedness exercises.
• Develop content for corporate websites, newsroom platforms, executive channels, earned media opportunities, and industry recognition programs.
