Job summary

AbbVie is offering a summer internship in Corporate Affairs to gain world-class experience within a leading pharmaceutical company. You will contribute to content creation, communications, and stakeholder engagement while learning across marketing, public affairs, and philanthropy.

Assignments may include research, presentations, and collaboration with teams across Corporate Affairs. Strong academic performance, leadership experience, and MS Office proficiency are valued for consideration.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, integrated marketing, journalism or related field
• Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 – June 2028
• Basic/intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Demonstrated leadership skills (e.g. extracurricular activities, projects or internships)
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in planning and executing Corporate Affairs initiatives and programs.
• Conduct research and gather information to support communications, stakeholder engagement and business priorities.
• Develop presentations, reports, content, and other materials for internal and external audiences.
• Analyze information and summarize insights, trends and recommendations for team members and leaders.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Corporate Affairs and other functions to support cross-functional projects.
