Job summary

A leading fertilizer company based in Denver is seeking a Corporate Accountant to maintain financial records and ensure accuracy. Key responsibilities include managing the general ledger, preparing journal entries, supporting cash processes, and conducting account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting and experience in accounting roles. A CPA is preferred. This position offers a salary range of $74,000–$85,000 annually, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
• Hands-on proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned areas of the general ledger ensuring accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries as part of the monthly close process.
• Support resolution of cash disbursements.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and related analysis.
• Assist in audit preparation and provide financial information.

Skills

Experience in progressively responsible accounting roles

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

Solid understanding of GAAP

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
