Job summary

Maryland Department of Health seeks a Chief Operating Officer for the Developmental Disabilities Administration. The role provides strategic leadership, directing the Community Pathways waiver program and Title VII services.

The COO oversees statewide operations, champions accountability, and partners with state agencies, providers, and advocacy groups to advance equity and quality of life for Marylanders with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 30 accounting credits and 3 auditing credits.
• Five years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, expenditure management or business administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for statewide program operations.
• Direct development, implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the Community Pathways waiver program and Title VII services.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve performance, accountability, quality and customer service.
