Job summary

AGRU America, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Unit Manager: Controlling to lead the financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for a manufacturing organization in South Carolina. You will own ERP-driven cost controlling, conduct cost calculations, and deliver performance metrics to executive management.

The role requires 5–7 years in controlling or cost accounting within manufacturing, strong SAP experience, and leadership capabilities to drive profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration or equivalent.
• Professional certification a plus (CMA, CPA) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage an ERP-driven cost controlling organization with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Supervise and develop a team of controlling staff, including hiring and performance management.
• Conduct manufacturing cost calculations and contribution margin analysis using standard costing in SAP.
• Maintain cost center accounting and allocate costs to centers and objects (e.g., plant energy costs).
• Prepare standard and ad hoc reports for purchasing, production, warehousing, order processing, and sales.
• Analyze value flows and deviations against plan and prior periods; develop dashboards.
