Job summary

Carrier Corporate Finance, based in the United States, seeks an Accounting Specialist to join the CCS accounting team. The role focuses on month-end closing, reconciliations, revenue recognition, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid setting (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Minimum 4+ years in accounting/finance with a Bachelor’s degree. SAP S/4HANA experience preferred; CPA/CMA a plus. Strong Excel skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• 2+ years of advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., complex formulas, data modeling, pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Support the month end closing & reporting processes to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Complete timely account reconciliations and ensure quality per Carrier standards.
• Quarterly review of open AR and recording allowance for bad debt and dispute reserve per policy.
• Sales Incentive Accounting including monthly accruals and reconciliations.
• Manage reserves including Warranty reserve and EAC loss reserve; calculate Net Asset Exposure.
• Assist with month over month and YTD flux analysis and reporting.
