Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• 3+ years as Controller or senior accounting leader.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience in a project-based, multi-location environment.
• Clear upward trajectory toward a CFO role.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic finance and analytics, partnering with ownership.
• Translate operational data into actionable business insights.
• Build models and conduct trend analyses to identify risks and opportunities.
• Own month-end close and maintain general ledger integrity.
• Manage job costing and project-level P&L across multi-location operations.
• Scale accounting controls and policies to support rapid growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting/finance team.
• Partner on ERP and systems improvements to modernize workflows and automate reporting.
• Build the financial infrastructure that supports a CFO-level function over time.
