Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) seeks a seasoned Controller to lead day-to-day accounting, close operations, and internal controls for a growing manufacturing business. This leadership role drives process improvements, talent development, and scalable accounting practices to support EBAD’s expansion and critical missions.

You will partner with senior finance and business leaders to ensure high-quality, compliant financial results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required; finance degree accepted with strong accounting experience.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading accounting operations and month-end close in manufacturing or project-based environments is preferred.
• CPA and/or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function across general accounting, AP/AR, cash application, payroll, fixed assets, leases, inventory, and related balances.
• Own the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial results.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables with strong control and evidence.
• Provide GAAP guidance on complex items and partner with leaders to address issues.
• Support acquisition integration, audits, taxes, and compliance activities.
