Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Manager, Contract Manager to join the Enterprise Supplier Management (ESM) team. You will draft, negotiate and manage third‑party contracts, working with legal, compliance and business stakeholders to protect the enterprise while enabling value creation.

The role emphasizes risk mitigation, strategic guidance and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑paced procurement environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing procurement contracts.
• Juris Doctorate is preferred for advanced contracting roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess transactions and design deal strategies with business customers and stakeholders.
• Draft and/or redline contracts to protect Capital One from risk.
• Negotiate contracts that align with Capital One standards and business objectives.
• Manage multiple transactions independently and drive to completion.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders including business, legal, compliance and data security teams.
• Collaborate with the ESM team and business units to minimize contract risk.
