aPriori is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Specialist to join our Legal team. This hands-on, operationally focused role manages the full lifecycle of commercial agreements—from intake and review through redlining, execution, and repository maintenance—for a global sales organization.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with SaaS licensing, CLM systems, AI-powered workflows, and data privacy concepts; they work independently, communicate clearly, and collaborate with deal desks to

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on commercial contracts experience in technology or legal operations
Experience with SaaS or software licensing agreements
Knowledge of data privacy concepts (GDPR/CCPA) and DPAs
Experience with CLM platforms (Linksquares, Ironclad, Conga, DocuSign CLM, Icertis)
Experience using AI tools to improve contract workflows
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and escalate when needed

Responsibilities

Administer and power user of the CLM system (Linksquares), ensuring configuration, adoption, and accuracy across contracts
Identify and implement AI-powered workflows and automation to improve throughput and contract quality
Develop standard operating procedures for intake, review, negotiation, execution, and post-signature compliance
Coordinate with the Deal Desk to ensure order documents and attachments are accurate and timely
Prepare negotiated agreements for execution by signatories; no independent binding authority
Serve as a trusted resource on standard contract terms and playbooks for the sales team
Maintain the contracts repository with proper tagging, organization, and searchability
Enforce data hygiene, metadata, renewal/expiration tracking, and counterparty data accuracy
Generate CLM reports/dashboards for Legal and Finance visibility
Review customer-proposed redlines and NDAs/MNDAs against standard templates
Triage contractual issues and escalate high-risk matters with clear recommended paths
Track non-standard commitments and alert internal stakeholders as needed
Support security and procurement questionnaires and RFP responses
