Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Director, Strategic Contracts to lead complex supplier negotiations and contract strategy within Procurement. You will partner with Legal, Risk, and business leaders to drive value while mitigating risk and ensuring strategic alignment across the organization.

The role requires JD/advanced legal experience and a proven track record in negotiation with senior executives, delivering decision support and high-impact outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD strongly preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in complex contract negotiations or advanced legal/purchasing roles.
• Proactive management of key business partner relationships and senior stakeholder influence.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle ambiguity.
• Strong understanding of complex contracting models and risk-based decision support.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, negotiation, and administration of strategic supplier contracts for Procurement.
• Advise business leaders on contract and risk decisions to optimize value for Fidelity.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Vendor Management Oversight to minimize risk.
