Job summary

Ampcus Inc is seeking an Agreements Analyst to join our Houston, TX team. The role partners with Implementation Consultants to analyze client needs, translate requirements, and prepare service agreement packages for internal and external clients.

Core duties include drafting agreements and amendments, ensuring approvals, and mitigating risk while supporting project work and reporting. Strong MS Office skills and a client-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years related experience in contracts and/or service agreements.
  • Certification in Contract Administration desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of contract fundamentals and ancillary documents to a contract.
  • Proactively seeks resolutions to problems; excellent consulting, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Draft standard service agreement packages and amendments with quality and deadlines.
  • Analyze and interpret client needs to set expectations and propose changes.
  • Ensure approvals are documented and retained.
  • Negotiate for best business practices in final documents.
  • Assess/mitigate risk of contract changes.
  • Maintain management reporting.
  • Participate in rotating team assignments (databases, spreadsheets, agendas).
  • Engage in project work and research as needed.
