Job summary

Air National Guard Units in Wisconsin (Volk Field) invites applications for a Contract Specialist - Title 5 Excepted Service. This National Guard position is under Title 5, P.L. 114-328, Sec. 932/1084, and requires a Secret clearance.

The role plans contracting programs, oversees procurement of services and construction, and manages post-award performance. Telework is eligible; a Bachelor’s degree is required, with transcripts requested.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contracting regulations and standards.
• Ability to analyze complex contracting issues and apply policy.
• Experience supporting COR programs and contract performance management.

Responsibilities

• Plans contracting program objectives for a variety of requirements with multiple complexities.
• Oversees procurement of services, supplies, construction and architect/engineering.
• Appoints CORs and manages the COR program; applies regulations and case law to contracts.
• Evaluates contractor performance and provides business guidance to customers and teams.
