Job summary

Vizient seeks a Contract Manager to support Mayo Clinic’s Capital, IT, and Purchased Services teams. You will manage the contract lifecycle, assist with negotiations, and coordinate contract launch and implementation across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

You will collaborate with category managers to apply best practices in eSourcing, risk mitigation, and lifecycle management, driving timely execution and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of contracting, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience required.
• Experience with capital equipment, IT infrastructure/software, or purchased services preferred.
• Strong understanding of contracting principles and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic sourcing outcomes with Mayo Clinic teams.
• Develop negotiation strategies for lower-complexity agreements (NDAs, amendments).
• Collaborate with Category Managers to apply best practices in sourcing and contracting.
• Interpret financial data, market trends, and healthcare intelligence for negotiations.
• Advise on legal terms and ensure adherence to contract standards and templates.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
