Qualifications

• Experience as a contract administrator and familiarity with contract workflow.
• Knowledge of contract law, compliance, and risk considerations.
• Familiarity with accounting procedures and financial terms.
• Excellent writing and editing abilities for contracts and communications.
• Detail-oriented with strong analysis and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales and purchase contracts.
• Order bid bonds.
• Enter bids online.
• Work with bid specifications and plans.
• Negotiate contract terms with internal and external customers and/or business partners.
• Review and update existing contracts.
• Explain terms and conditions to managers and interested parties.
• Ensure employees understand and comply with company contracts.
• Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms.
• Stay up to date with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed.
• Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met.
• Maintain organized system of physical and digital records.
• Create language standards for existing and new contracts.
